It has been so hot here in Hong Kong that I thought I was going to die. 34C feels like 44C. Winter can't come soon enough....

Just bought a pantone huey to tune the colour of my monitor. It certainly is money well spent. Seeing the "before" and "after" comparison made me realised that I have wasted ink and paper for so many years in order to match the print with the screen. Now all I need is a new large format printer....

Crazy Stone

I think it is quite a funny movie. It is one of those movies that you don't really need to exercise a large part of your brain yet the stimulus is huge. For me it has done all it could have done and that is to entertain. I don't really like the ending for it got all too serious. A "happier" ending I thought would be much more suitable. Imagine the shock when I saw this review about the movie.

BTW this photo was taken while walking to the cinema. It was my first visit to Broadway Cinematheque and it would certainly not be my last. This type of artsy cinema brought back a lot of memories of my school years. Now all I needed was to see a totally weird foreign film.....

Auto cameras...

I used to dislike using automatic camera because I felt it would take the fun out of photo shooting. But I haven't stopped shooting since getting this "auto everything" last week. It is just so much fun and I seem to be getting those shots of (whom I consider to be interesting) people on the street which I would have otherwise missed with my trusty old mechanical leica. I must be getting old....
